Another Day Building a Dream
It’s built every single day through hard work, consistency, sacrifice, and dedication.
For Umair Yasin, success was never just about building a business. It was about building something meaningful — something rooted in family, faith, purpose, and legacy. What started as a passion for fragrance and atmosphere slowly evolved into a vision that would become House of Duaa and later Duaa Kits, two brands created with intention and driven by values.
This is a glimpse into the daily grind behind House of Duaa and the relentless effort put in by Umair Yasin.
From early mornings to late nights, every task, every challenge, and every decision became part of building a dream from the ground up.
People often see the finished product — the beautiful packaging, the growing brand, the success online — but they rarely see the countless hours behind the scenes. The late nights researching products. The setbacks. The risks. The moments of uncertainty. Running a business takes discipline, patience, and the willingness to keep moving forward even when things feel impossible.
For years, Umair traveled across Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar, Turkey, and beyond, always returning home inspired by the unforgettable scents and experiences he encountered. The smell of Bakhoor in a luxury hotel lobby, the calm atmosphere of a masjid, the warmth of family gatherings, and the serenity felt in sacred spaces all left a lasting impression on him. Fragrance became more than just a scent — it became an emotion, a memory, and a feeling of peace.
But there was always one problem. Those moments were temporary.
Candles burned out. Air fresheners faded. Traditional bakhoor required time and preparation. Umair began asking himself an important question: why couldn’t these feelings exist in people’s homes every single day in a modern, effortless way?
Then came the moment that changed everything. While unpacking another collection of fragrances from his travels, his daughter Duaa asked him a simple question:
“Why can’t we make this for everyone?”
That question sparked the beginning of House of Duaa.
Built as a father-daughter vision, House of Duaa was created to bring the beauty of heritage-inspired Middle Eastern scents into modern living through luxury fragrance diffusers and premium diffuser oils. The goal was never simply to make homes smell good — it was to create atmosphere. To create calm. To create comfort.
Umair worked closely with professional fragrance chemists and perfumers to develop scents that captured the depth and emotion of the places and experiences that inspired him. Every fragrance tells a story — whether it’s inspired by the tranquility of Madinah, the elegance of five-star hotels, the warmth of hospitality, or the peace felt after a long day.
House of Duaa quickly became more than a fragrance brand. It became a reflection of family, identity, and intentional living. It represented the belief that your environment affects how you feel, and that even small details — like scent — can transform a home into a sanctuary.
But Umair’s vision didn’t stop there.
As his family began thinking more seriously about preparedness and protecting loved ones during uncertain times, another realization emerged. Most emergency food kits on the market didn’t align with the values many Muslim families lived by. Ingredients weren’t always transparent, halal options were limited, and families were often forced to compromise when it mattered most.
Once again, Umair saw a gap that needed to be filled.
That vision became Duaa Kits.
Duaa Kits was built on a simple but powerful belief: preparedness should never come at the cost of your principles. The brand was created to give families practical readiness and peace of mind rooted in their values. It wasn’t just about emergency supplies — it was about trust, responsibility, and serving a community that had long been overlooked.
Both House of Duaa and Duaa Kits share the same foundation: solving real problems with purpose and intention. One focuses on bringing peace and comfort into everyday living through scent and atmosphere. The other focuses on helping families feel prepared and protected during difficult moments. Together, they represent a deeper mission — creating products that genuinely improve people’s lives while staying true to faith and values.
The journey hasn’t been easy. Building brands from scratch requires sacrifice. It means taking risks when there are no guarantees. It means working when others are sleeping, staying focused when things get difficult, and continuing to believe in the vision even before anyone else sees it.
But that’s what building a dream looks like.
The dedication to succeed means showing up every day — focused, committed, and ready to outwork yesterday. It means understanding that success is not one big moment, but thousands of small moments of consistency stacked together over time.
Umair Yasin’s story is ultimately about more than business. It’s about vision. Family. Faith. Legacy. And the belief that when you build with sincerity and purpose, you can create something that leaves a lasting impact far beyond products alone.
